BOTTOM OF THE BARREL
Each person is unique. Everyone brings something to the table. I worked in the corporate world for over two decades. Cannot imagine a world where everybody is exactly thee same. That would be boring.
I appreciate each person who they are. Some of society's greatest accomplishments were done by men and women perceived as different. Folks who were different from me have been some of my biggest influences.
Two weeks left in the season. Playoff push in full swing.

I went down to the World Trade Center site last evening on the 25th anniversary. Security was tight (had bags checked) and it was crowded. I come every year.
My favorite spot is by the waterfalls where the towers once stood. Red and white roses were in prominence at the north site. There were more flags at the south site, It was quiet for the most part. The falls have a calming effect. A band featuring bagpipes plays several songs.
Even after all these years what happened still stings. I have watched many videos and interviews the past few days. I reflected on the loss of innocent lives. I am also proud of the many people who stepped up big time. Strangers helping strangers.
I will keep coming here as it is my homage to all those affected by 9/11.
While dining at a fast-restaurant, I observed the many young people there. I wasn't sure if they were high school or college students. Feeling their energy, I mused to myself "Enjoy your youth!"
My body may be old but I'm young at heart. New adventures await me. I mine them like searching for precious gold.
It's bad enough that society wants to make transpeopple disappear. It s more disturbing when so called 'Christisns' that I cannot be transgender and Christian.
During church this past Sunday this thought crossed my mind. I remember the inner struggle I experienced when I came out. I was born again in the early 1970s. I came out in 2005. One of the concerns I expressed prior to my spiritual conversion was how each person treats their fellow human being.
My conversion to Christianity was real and so was my acceptance to being trans. Both times I felt relieved and complete. Our experiences are valid. I don't care what critics say about me.
