My support group meeting was great! Afterwards, I chatted with a transsexual for an hour. I feel so much a part of this community and group. Each day, I glean something new in my journey as a transgender. We still have a ways to go as a minority group, but I see some small victories. I see people sruggling and getting comfortable with their identity. I see people grow emotionally as they break the shackles of shame and fear in their lives. To me, this is the most satisfying time when that happens.
