Very Active
I haven't posted as much because of my schedule and some family issues. I will get back to it when my laptop is repaired. Should be in another week. I am using my tablet right now.
I have writing, performing, and creating stories. Been looking for protests to attend and work on a couple of issues important to me. Gentrification is a huge concern in my neighborhood, so REAL affordable housing is a must. I plan on attending the Trans Health Conference which will be in September this year. I believe that there are a couple of protests in Washington, D.C. that are coming up. I'll need to check up on that.

Snowy And Cold
It's been snowy and cold here in New York. Temperatures have been in the twenties with the wind chill in the single digits. Listen everyone, it's March and the weather can be quite turbulent. Had some freezing rain which makes the roads very treacherous. Drive safely!
March Madness Is Here!
It's tournament time in college basketball. I follow all divisions (one, two, three, NAIA) , men and women. I'm a big fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels. I'm still working on my brackets (Division I) so I will let you know my picks by Thursday.

Genevieve's Gems
Young women today often have very little appreciation for the real battles that took place to get women where they are today in this country. I don't know how much history young women today know about those battles.

Dearth Of Topics
Affordable housing and immigration are big topics here in my neighborhood. I'm sure there are topics that are unique to each person or neighborhood. I'm pleased to see that people have been motivated to action. I've already been to three protest and more are planned.
With the wave of executive orders being signed and lawmakers scrambling to get their bills passed, it's imperative to be informed and on top of the issues. I'm confident that we, the people, will make an impact.
